Meet Oliver, Project Management Officer

As the Project Management Officer my job is to support with managing value creation iniatives, bringing teams together and delivering on projects. One of the most rewarding things about my role is that no two days are the same and I get to work across all of the great departments in the company.

Meet Rob, Head of Technical Projects and New Ventures

I began my career in wind energy with Boston Energy 8 or so years ago, beginning my career onshore with the Siemens Heavy Lift team. I was then placed on annual service working my way up to MT which gave me the privilege to travel to most of the offshore UK sites. My career then led me to O&M companies such as Orsted and Vestas in roles such as Main Component Exchange AT & Project Supervisor. I enjoyed the travel and the time meeting and working with new technicians around the country and Europe.

Now, I am more office based as Head of Technical Projects & New Ventures. My role involves me looking at the customer requirements, understanding their needs and working with the Operations team to deliver a comprehensive project plan. Working hard with technicians and the Business Development team, we look to deliver successful projects to our existing and potential customers.

Meet Nathan, Project Coordinator

One thing I love about my job as Project Coordinator is that no two days are the same. I enjoy the variety of my work as it means my industry knowledge is constantly growing and I am in a stronger position to help our technicians and fulfil their needs quickly. We have an amazing team at our Head Office and they are 100% supportive of whatever route you wish to take in your career. I have aspirations of becoming a wind technician and Boston Energy have supported me every step of the way.
